Our Story & Ethos
Helping Hands Daycare was founded in 2013 with the goal of creating a warm and nurturing environment for young children. Starting with our Lisburn nursery, we have grown to become a trusted name in early years care. In January 2025, we expanded to Ballycastle, opening a beautifully converted setting in the former Barnish Primary School. We also operate St Colman's Afterschool by Helping Hands in Lambeg, which provides safe and stimulating care for school-aged children.
Our ethos is centred on the belief that every child is unique. We focus on developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning through play, exploration, and strong relationships.
We are proud recipients of the Top 20 Day Nursery Award from Daynurseries.co.uk, a recognition based on glowing feedback from parents.
