I have been a part of the helping hands team for nearly 4 years, supporting children from 6 months to 11 years old. I genuinely love being part of each child’s journey and watching their personalities shine as they grow and develop. I also really value building strong relationships with parents as I believe open communication and teamwork make a big difference in helping every child thrive.

I’ve been part of Helping Hands Daycare for 13 years, working across all age groups from babies through to now leading our afterschool club. I love working in childcare because every day is different, and it’s so rewarding to support children as they grow, learn, and build their confidence. I joined Helping Hands Day Care in 2025 and work in the toddler room. I truly enjoy spending my days with the children, supporting them as they play, learn, and grow. It’s especially rewarding to create simple tuff tray activities and watch how the children explore, discover, and have fun through hands-on play. Being part of their early development and seeing their confidence grow each day is something I find incredibly special.

I love meeting all the new families that come through our doors and building strong, supportive relationships with them. I have been working in Helping Hands Daycare, Ballycastle since it first opened in January 2025 and I love seeing how the children develop and grown into their own little self's as well as exploring and learning through lots of messy play!

One thing I love about being part of the Helping Hands Team is that it is a very rewarding job, to see the children thrive and adapt to new settings and fully let their amazing personalities show. Although I am recently new to the team, it feels as though I have known the children much longer due to how welcoming themselves and staff have been. I feel like I bring a fun atmosphere to the room as well as helping children reach their goals and milestones.

At Helping Hands Daycare, I enjoy doing the school drop off's and pick up. I enjoy seeing them so happy coming out of school, excited to tell me all about their day. I love getting the children outdoors for activities and free play and watching them grow and learn each day.
