Baby Room

Our baby room is a bright, spacious, and welcoming environment for up to 10 children, where we are always delighted to welcome new little ones.

Our Key Worker Approach

Each child is assigned a dedicated key worker who builds a warm, trusting bond with them. They carefully monitor your child's daily routine-including meals, naps, nappy changes, and play-helping them feel safe, settled, and happy. Regular updates are shared with you to keep you informed about your child's progress and development.

Learning through play

We provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and support early development. These are delivered within a gentle structure, alongside a baby-led routine tailored to each child's individual needs.

Rest and sleep

Each child has their own cot. Babies are allowed to sleep as needed, while older children are gently guided towards a routine, typically napping between 12pm and 2pm.

Parents can stay informed throughout the day via the Family app, with updates on meals, sleep, nappy changes, mood, and more.

Tots Room (12-24 Months)

Our Tots Room is designed for children aged 12-24 months, supporting their growing independence in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. We encourage exploration, play, and learning through both free play and guided activities.

Learning & Development

Children are supported through sensory play, early language development, movement, and outdoor exploration. Activities are planned around monthly themes to build understanding and confidence.

Toddler Room (Ages 2-3 years)

The Toddler Room is a bright, spacious environment filled with a variety of educational toys and resources tailored to support this important stage of development. We place a strong emphasis on speech and language, with daily opportunities for singing, role play, and storytelling.

Learning through play

Children engage in a wide range of activities that help build independence, confidence, thinking skills, and social development. These include arts and crafts, books, games, physical activities, and more. We also introduce early learning concepts such as numbers, colours, music, and sensory play, covering the six key areas of learning each day.

Sleep and rest

Sleep and rest are an important part of the daily routine. Children who need a nap are supported in a calm and comfortable environment. Those who no longer nap are offered quiet activities to relax and unwind while others rest.

Toilet training

We work closely with parents and children when it is the appropriate time to begin toilet training. Our approach follows a clear policy, and we provide child-sized facilities to ensure comfort and confidence during this stage.

Keeping you informed throughout the day

Parents can stay updated at any time using the Family app. You can view your child's activities, including rest, meals, toilet visits, mood, and other key information, allowing you to stay connected with their day.

Preschool Rooms

We are committed to helping your child make a smooth and confident transition to school. Our approach focuses on nurturing self-esteem by celebrating each child's achievements and encouraging their efforts. We provide a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where children and staff learn, play, and grow together.

Early Years Learning

Children are gently introduced to the foundations of early education, including reading, writing, and basic mathematics, in preparation for school. We foster curiosity and a love of learning by encouraging children to explore, ask questions, and express their ideas. Their interests guide our daily activities, which may include topics such as recycling, natural colours, and seasonal foods.

Learning Through Play

We believe that play is essential to early development. A variety of engaging play resources helps children build focus and learning skills. Activities include sand and water play, modelling with dough, painting, role play, building with blocks, reading, and completing puzzles. We also offer a creative "messy area" where children can freely use their imagination. Outdoor play is an important part of the day, with access to a safe garden and equipment such as slides, swings, and climbing frames.
